This past month we served over 11,000 individuals with groceries, at an average of 405 families per distribution. This has brought us to serve over 30,000 individuals so far this year.

On March 23 we celebrated four years of service since our first food distribution in 2020. We've served 3.6 MILLION POUNDS OF FOOD to more than 402,352 individuals over 339 distributions. If you're receiving this email, it's because you've contributed to that number through a gift of your time, your money or your resources! We're so grateful to have you as a part of our Culture Aid NOLA community.

Thank you to our friends at Hands On for donating senior kits and American Safety LLC for water donations for our distributions this month. They were handed out thanks to volunteers and groups that joined us in the month of March from Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Jesuit High School and Mt. Carmel Academy and the University of Texas Dallas.

Make plans now to join us in April! Volunteer shifts are now available on our website.

Thank you everyone who came out to support our fourth anniversary trivia event on Saturday March 23rd. We had a great turnout and excellent cocktails at Happy Raptor Distillery. The Dames de Perlage also held a blood drive and fundraiser last Saturday March 30, making us the beneficiary of their 50/50 raffle. If you missed either chance to come out and support, you can still make a gift in honor of four years of service.

There's more exciting work to come in our future, and it's as bright as the sun! We've launched a partnership with Footprint Project to make our operations greener through solar energy. Stay tuned for a press release and blog post coming soon about this partnership.

April is National Volunteer Month, so make sure to stay tuned on our social media for features of our hard-working volunteers! We can't wait to report back to you soon on the success of our work to come.

Thank you for your continued support,
