Each Wednesday evening in July Culture Aid NOLA (CAN) and Imagine Water Works (IWW) provided supplies to keep local families storm-ready.

With these rapidly intensifying storms, it’s more crucial than ever for those who cannot evacuate to have 72 hours worth of supplies on hand when facing a hurricane,” says Ellie Duff, executive director of CAN. The organization began serving meals within 36 hours after Hurricane Ida, and began July Supply in 2022 to prepare families for those first hours after a storm while organizations work together to assess how to respond safely.
