Olivia --

July was such a busy month at Culture Aid NOLA!

We served over 10,300 individuals this month through 7 distributions, including our special July Supply programming on Wednesday evenings this month in partnership with Imagine Water Works!

Together we were able to serve over $100,000 worth of disaster preparedness items to 7,872 individuals. Items this year included shelf-stable food boxes, cooling bandanas, thermal bags and more distributed over each Wednesday of the month.

Did you catch Ellie on Fox 8 promoting July Supply? Watch her here!

Our mid-year numbers are in, and we're proud to share with you a year over year increase of pounds served so far:

We also launched a campaign to match an anonymous $10,000 gift. Our donor asked not share his name, but did ask us to share this message with you:

"Time is my problem, I don’t have much time in my life, but giving money is useful and necessary. The folks that are hands-on can’t succeed without money. So I might say to folks who are maybe more like me where your time is a resource that you don’t have too much of- get exposed, see what’s going on in the local communities through programs like this in addition to providing assets and resources to help those folks deliver food. "

There's still time to for you to give to match his passion for our mission and our team's energy! Make a gift while your impact is still doubled.

Volunteer in August

Our donors and volunteers' energy has pushed us into the final hottest stretch of the summer. You can now register for August dates on our website! Friends from the National Association of University Women and members of Yelp Nola Elite gave vital hours on site this month, and volunteers from Yelp have raised $125 so far to match their time served on site.

Thank you for continuing to support and follow our mission to serve New Orleans families with no-barriers and no-stigma!
